WWII Comic Arts and Propaganda

WWII Comic Arts and Propaganda is an online exhibition of comic arts materials held by Mizzou Libraries Special Collections that address the relationships between comics and propaganda as related to the Second World War. This online exhibition is curated by Scarlett Jones, fourth-year student in the BA in English program as part of her 2026 internship in Special Collections.

This exhibit was born out of a desire to showcase materials within Special Collections at the University of Missouri that were produced by historically excluded people. We want all of our students to be able to see themselves proudly reflected in our collections.
