Models

Beloved by children and adults alike, models have been a cornerstone of the toy market since long before the popularization of the style of magazines within this collection. As the production methods become more sophisticated, the types of models have increased in diversity as well. Unlike previous examples, magazines centered around models were less age-specific and served as a mixture of sales guides and hobbyist magazine, much of which was later supplanted by the internet and forums which served the same purpose.

Included in this gallery are three magazines which discuss tried and true models which have not gone out of style across generations. Two of the magazines discuss trains, including models, tracks, maintenance, tips, and industry information. The third magazine discusses models of US naval vehicles and ships.
