Please note, the Health Sciences Library will be closed December 25th to January 1st for the holidays so our services will not be available. We will reopen January 2nd.

  • If you need assistance while the Health Sciences Library is closed, please email asklibrary@health.missouri.edu.
  • Any ILL requests will be processed when the library reopens.

Self-renewing endometrial epithelial organoids of the human uterus” was co-authored by Dr. Danny J. Schust and Dr. Thomas E. Spencer of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health. The article was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (impact factor of 9.58 in 2018).

Finals Stress Relief at the Health Sciences Library

It’s that time in the semester again: FINALS.

From Dec.1st to Dec.14th the Health Sciences Library will have extended hours. Check our hours page throughout the week.

Make sure to take a break and grab some hot chocolate and cookies in the atrium:

  • Dec. 5th 2-4pm
  • Dec. 10th 4-6pm

All week we will have puzzles and coloring pages out for you to enjoy.

From Nov.26th-27th, the first floor will be restricted to 3rd year medical students for testing between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.

If you need a book from the first floor, please visit the Service Desk.

Remember, if you need to print, use the Health Sciences Library Copy Room printers located on the main floor of the library.

Thank You Adam Shapiro

Recently, Adam Shapiro, gifted a digital copy of Building continents of knowledge in oceans of data : the future of co-created eHealth : proceedings of MIE 2018, in memory of Dr. Donald Lindberg.

Dr.  Lindberg was a pioneer in using computer technology to improve health care. Beginning his career in 1960 at the University of Missouri as a professor of information science and pathology, he was named Director of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) in 1984 and served until 2015.

The University Libraries Honor with Books program lets patrons honor someone special with a book purchase.
