The Research Files on the Fragmenta Manuscripta Collection consist of research material describing fragments of manuscripts that make up the collection, dating from the eighth through the seventeenth centuries. Most of them are from England, but there are some from other countries as well. Also included are informational notecards, microfilm of John Bagford’s fragment collection relating to the Fragmenta Manuscripta Collection, and sleeved photographs of all 217 fragments from the collection. This material was used by researchers Dr. Karen Gould and Professor Linda Ehrsam Voigts to create a catalogue for this collection.

The University of Missouri Libraries do not hold copyright on most collection materials, and therefore we do not charge usage fees or require permission to publish scanned images. The libraries encourage use of reproductions of Special Collections materials in publications, broadcasts, public displays and on web pages.
