With our new phone system, the email and phone voicemail are integrated. This means that if you delete the voicemail from you email, it will no longer be available on your phone. Also, if you listen to the voicemail on your phone, it will no longer show up in your email. Let us know if you have any other tips about using the new phones that you would like to share.

Dear Friends,
Many of you have been helping with this project in one way or another for years, so I wanted to be sure to let you know that my co-editor (and former PhD student) Crystal Lake and I received a three-year NEH Scholarly Editions grant to complete our digital edition of Vetusta Monumenta. So many librarians have generously helped us with this project since 2012. (The librarians are Anne Barker, Kelli Hansen, Alla Barabtarlo, and Michael Holland.)

Thank you to Kelli Hansen for agreeing to serve as Acting Head of Special Collections for the coming year. If you have questions about the Reading Room or services provided by Special Collections, please consult with Kelli beginning next week. Special Collections will continue as part of RAIS until a new Assistant/Associate University Librarian for this area is hired.
Access Services and Advancement are about to implement a big change in courtesy borrowing privileges. We will no longer provide paid courtesy borrowing cards the way we have in the past. Those without an affiliation with MU Libraries will need to become a Friend of the Library ($50.00 minimum membership) to attain borrowing privileges. Thanks to Burt, Freddy, Kathy, Sheila, and Matt for working on this effort.
Where are Anne and Noel? Anne Barker has moved offices and can now be found in the Government Documents office area. Noel Kopriva, when she is not over at the Engineering Library, can now be found in Ellis 170 in East Reference.
