Video
From animation to experimentation, comedy to documentary or any other genre, the showcase welcomes videos that explore the creativity of their creators and the corners of the world around them. Students may use the moving image to address either fiction or nonfiction subject matter, expressing themselves in a range of forms from traditional journalism to limitless experimentation. Original video formats are the discretion of the creator, but the final version of the entry should be in a form that can be delivered in an mp4 file and displayed in a single playback window. Audio presentations can vary according to the creator’s needs but should be embedded in the video file. The time limit for each entry is ten minutes. Entries typically come from students enrolled in Digital Storytelling, Film Studies and Journalism, but are not limited to those disciplines.
