Illumination: f 1v: Large initial D depicting Philip II and the royal family praying to the Virgin and Child in a landscape. Gilt borders with flowers, fruit, and insects. Large cartouche with coat of arms in lower third of page. f 2r: Large initial A with coat of arms. Red, blue, and gilt borders with vegetal decoration and a motto, “VERITAS VINCIT” in lower cartouche.
