Student Mobile IDs Are Available!

Mobile IDs now are available for our students. This means students who have added the TigerCard to their mobile device can now tap their phone or watch on card readers across campus inside the library, dining halls, MizzouRec, the Mizzou Store, Mizzou Pharmacy, Tiger Garden and other select locations.

As the semester begins, we’ll start seeing more students tapping their mobile IDs using a phone or watch rather than using their physical IDs. The experience for those of you who are monitoring the approval or completion of a transaction will be similar. However, there are some important things to know about this change:
• Students should carry their physical ID cards as a backup. If the student’s mobile ID doesn’t work, instruct them to use their physical ID card.
• For issues with the mobile ID, please direct students to call the IT Help Desk at 573-882-5000.
• For issues with the physical ID, please direct students to the ID Office in the lower level of the Mizzou Store or have them call 573-882-1871.
• Students can use their mobile ID for student charge purchases, and it will be billed to their account.
• Students must have purchased a dining plan or have funds in Tiger Cash to use their mobile ID as payment at a dining location.
• The mobile ID can be used immediately after downloading in most locations. For Residential Life locks it may take up to 20 minutes for the first use. MizzouRec, students may need to wait a few hours for their mobile ID to sync.
• Mobile ID is not currently available for faculty and staff, or access to employee areas.

To learn more about the new mobile ID option or to download, please visit the Mizzou mobile ID webpage.
