If you have completed 10 Real Appeal sessions your points will automatically be uploaded by the end of July.

June is: Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia, a general term for memory loss and other cognitive abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life.

  • In Missouri alone, around 110,000 people have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.
  • In Missouri there are over 316,000 caregivers helping their loved ones!

PTSD Awareness Month
June is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month, and we want to raise awareness on this serious condition that affects many war veterans.  PTSD is a type of anxiety that occurs in many different ways. It can begin after you experience extreme trauma, some examples are: exposure to combat, being involved in a serious accident, an assault or abuse, a natural disaster, or an act of terrorism.
