Volunteers needed on August 16th for the Fall Welcome Resource Fair

It’s hard to believe that Fall Welcome Week is almost here! The University Libraries will be participating in the Fall Welcome Resource Fair on Friday, August 16th and we are looking for volunteers to help us staff the booth from 1-4 pm. There is no pressure to sign up to work all three hours of the event. If you can only work or share an hour with a colleague, that will be a great help! Please check with your supervisor before volunteering.

Here is the link to sign up to volunteer!

Relocation of New Books

Awhile back the new books had been moved from the wooden bookcases in the colonnade to some shelving near the Research Help Desk. The shelving was too low for many of our patrons. The new books will be relocated back to the wooden bookcase on the west side of the colonnade, near the newspapers.
