Our first featured staff member for February is Adam Banning, who works in Library Technology Services (LTS).  A native of Columbia, Adam began working for Mizzou in 1996 as a student tech for Campus Computing.  He started working for MU Libraries in 2000 after his graduation.  Adam holds a BA in History and a BA in Computer Science (both from MU), and and has completed some graduate work in Geography.

Adam’s hobbies include photography, cars and B movies, and the coolest place he’s ever visited is the Neva River in St. Petersburg, Russia during white nights.

Who does Adam see portraying him in a movie? “None other than the master thespian Bruce Campbell could do me justice … although Jeff Bridges’ portrayal of ‘The Dude’ is in many ways remarkable accurate.”
