A 9-class series designed to improve your eating habits, help you enjoy moving your body, enhance your body image and promote a healthy weight loss.

Mondays from Sept 15th to Nov 17th from 3-4pm in Memorial Union North 232
Mondays from Sept 15th to Nov 17th from 4:15-5:15pm in Memorial Union North 232
Other class times welcome for a group of 10 or more.

Cost is $40…$20 back when you complete the program.

Break the Habit

Healthy for Life: T.E. Atkins University of Missouri Wellness Program is starting a pilot program of individualized smoking cessation counseling for employees on the MU Campus. These sessions will last 15 minutes and be conducted on a one-on-one basis. Counseling can be tailored to fit your needs—via phone or brief personal visits.

Wellbody Classes

The Wellness Resource Center is offering WELLBODY, a 7-class series to University students, faculty and staff interested in achieving a healthy weight, improving health through proper nutrition, appropriate exercise, and positive body image. Classes are $20 for students and $50 for faculty and staff which also includes two individual sessions with a registered dietitian. Valentine’s Formal Dance with Mizzou Ballroom Dance Club

  • Date: Sunday February 15
  • Time: 7-9 pm
  • Place: Mark Twain Ballroom,
  • Price: $2-students, $4-USA Dance members, $6-non-members
  • Please bring a snack to share.

Along with this, the Mizzou ballroom group offers inexpensive ballroom dance lessons every Sunday night on campus. It is a great, healthy activity and if you are interested you can contact fellow ambassador John Howe via e-mail or phone 882-5357.
