Construction for roof replacement of Ellis Library will begin on Monday, May 19. The contractor will be setting up his laydown area on the south side of the library and demolition work on the roof will begin. The contractor will address the high roof areas first, and then move to the lower roof areas. There will be noise and odors from time to time. Keep windows closed in order to reduce the noise, dust and odor infiltration. At times it may be prudent to turn off air handling equipment in the event they are pulling in offensive orders. Special weather protection will be addressed while re-roofing in the area of Historical Book Storage. The project is scheduled for completion by June 23.
