Final Healthy for Life weekly email
It has been a stimulating and rewarding few years for the Healthy for Life Team—we hope you can say the same—but this is the last weekly digest we will be emailing to you. We are already launching new communications tools to advertise the same great information, like our new Let’s Talk Total Rewards blog where daily articles are posted. Please use the “Subscribe” feature on the right-hand side of the blog’s homepage to have articles delivered to your email inbox every day. And, we hope you’ll encourage your colleagues to subscribe, too.
Thank you for reading and sharing our news over the years. We look forward to many great years to come! This isn’t the end. We’ll still be in touch—just in different ways, including different types of emails.

Sandy Schiefer, government documents librarian at the University of Missouri Libraries, has been awarded a Show Me Steps Continuing Education grant that will allow her to attend a the “Providing Social Science Data Services: Strategies for Design and Operation” workshop in August at the University of Michigan.
Schiefer was recently appointed a Designated Representative for the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). In this role she will assist data users in locating, downloading and working with ICPSR data. This five-day workshop is specifically designed for those new to providing social science data services. The $1500 grant will cover the registration cost of the workshop.
The Show Me Steps to Continuing Education grant program provides financial assistance for Missouri library personnel to attend continuing education activities. This financial assistance program is funded by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds awarded through the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency that fosters innovation, leadership and a lifetime of learning. LSTA grants are awarded and administered to Missouri libraries by the Missouri State Library, a department of the Office of the Secretary of State.
