MOBIUS has started the on-boarding process for the Open Textbook Network (OTN), and they are excited to announce that Grace Atkins, Outreach Librarian at the University of Missouri Libraries, has been chosen to serve as a System Leader for the initiative!
Grace has been leading a campus Open Educational Resources (OER) interest group for the past two years and has served as the central point of communication about OER between students, libraries, bookstore, and educational technology units at MU.
Grace’s extensive knowledge of OER, along with her outreach skills, with be a tremendous benefit to MOBIUS.
Grace and Christina Virden, E-Resources Coordinator at MOBIUS, will attend the OTN's Summer Institute in August at the University of Minnesota. There they will receive extensive training on how to support member libraries in the implementation of the OTN program.
