NEW! Financial Wellness Seminar
Cultivating financial wellness can be as easy as completing a few steps annually. This year, the University of Missouri System has gathered the financial resources available to you on the financial wellness webpage, your one-stop-shop for educational information, tools, and events designed to help you become and stay financially well. The Financial Wellness program provides resources and classes available to ALL full-time/part-time faculty and staff. Join the mailing list!

Caught in the Act is Underway! January 17th – February 28th

Caught in the Act is a program designed to acknowledge and reward faculty and staff for demonstrating random acts of wellness. These employees exemplify a culture of health in the workplace in the 5 priority areas of Be Active, Eat Well, Work-life Fit, Work Healthy, and Empower and Appreciate. Click here to learn more about Caught in the Act, and be inspired by stories of employees who were nominated during the 2016 program.

Do you know a coworker who practices wellness in the workplace? Click here to acknowledge their efforts and nominate them for Caught in the Act. Nominees will be entered into a weekly raffle. 1 name will be drawn each week on every campus, and the weekly winner will get to choose a prize that supports wellness in the 5 priority areas. Nominators will also have a chance to win a prize at the end of the program.

Nominees are getting Caught in the Act for activities like:

  • Creating a staff development program focused on inter-departmental collaboration and staff appreciation
  • Cleaning up trash when walking during breaks
  • Biking to work
  • Encouraging afternoon breaks
  • Sharing desserts made with healthier substitutions

United Healthcare Nurse Liaison is Coming to Campus
Caroline Murphy, United Healthcare Nurse Liaison,  is available to assist you with health education and disease management (e.g., diabetes or blood pressure management), setting personal health goals, finding in-network physicians, and more. #KnowMoreDoMore Series
The Student Affairs Inclusion Collective invites staff to join them in a series of presentations and discussions through 2017. Through monthly discussions, participants focus on tangible ways to promote inclusion, equity, and diversity at the University of Missouri.
