Michael Hopkins has accepted the position of Programmer Analyst in LTS, working on the Mellon grant. Michael will begin working in his new position on Monday, 10/27/2014.

Volunteers Needed for Homecoming Open House
If you are interested in helping out with this year’s MU Libraries Homecoming Open House at Ellis Library, please contact Sheila Voss at vosss@missouri.edu. Volunteers will receive a pair of Concert Series tickets. The open house will be held from 10 am-noon (time to be confirmed closer to the event) on Saturday, Oct. 25.
MU Approved to Open New Census Bureau Research Data Center in Ellis Library

The satellite office will be set up sometime after the relocation of units to Jesse Hall and will be located in room 205.
McDavid and Graves Author Chapters in New Library Instruction Book
Shelly McDavid and Rebecca Graves co-authored two chapters, Introduction to Learning Theory and Introduction to Instructional Techniques which appear in Curriculum-Based Library Instruction: From cultivating faculty relationships to assessment. The book has just been released and was co-edited by Amy Blevins, a graduate of SISLT.
