During spring break MUPD and Security will be offering two active threat classes for the library staff and student staff. They will be held Wednesday, March 28th from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Friday, March 30th from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. If you are interested please let your supervisor know which date you would like to attend. I’m asking all supervisors to e-mail me their list of employees who want to attend either class by Monday morning, March 19th.
Hourly-paid library employees who attend the training will be eligible for overtime pay if the extra hours meet the criteria for overtime. See HR policy 211 for information: http://www.umsystem.edu/ums/rules/hrm/hr200/hr211.
