Presenters: Debbie Robison, Associate Vice Provost and Associate Director for University of Missouri Extension, MU, and Mary K. Kroening, Horticulture Specialist and Missouri Master Gardener Program Coordinator

Did you know MU Extension is Missouri’s one-stop source for practical education on almost anything? A look at their web site (http://extension.missouri.edu/) shows tabs for Agriculture, Lawn and Garden, Nutrition and Health, and many more. In addition, MU Extension offers university-level evening and online courses and degrees. Students in grades three through 12 can take independent study courses and even earn a diploma online.

Two members of Extension will be on-site to talk about the programs and information resources available to library employees. Debbie Robison will provide an overall presentation of what Extension does and the resources available. Debbie is the Associate Vice Provost and Associate Director for University of Missouri Extension, MU. Mary K. Kroening will talk on gardening/flowers, etc., in a presentation entitled “Cool Plants for Missouri Heat.” Mary is a Horticulture Specialist and Missouri Master Gardener Program Coordinator.
