What is an iTouch, what does it do and how will it and similar handheld computing devices impact library services? Judy Maseles will demonstrate how the iTouch works and why we in the libraries need to know. More people than ever are using mobile devices for a wide variety of purposes including communication, internet access, education, text messaging, and entertainment. LibX is a browser plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer that makes it easy to determine whether the MU Libraries can provide access to a book or article that you have found cited on the web. Release time is available with supervisor approval.
