Tammy Green (Heart of Missouri Master Gardeners) brought this one to my attention. I attended last year and had a great time. They have different things you can try and most of the plants I remember seeing there aren’t the type I find at Walmart. I have no idea what they will have this year, but especially if you want a tree, this is worth visiting. The staff were very informative and happy to answer questions. The event happens on Oct. 19th from 10:00-3:00 at the MU Horticulture and Agroforestry Research Farm.
