Very Small Maine Library Adding Lots of Banned Books

The Matinicus Island Library, located on Matinicus Isle off the coast of Maine, is very small and run by volunteers. They are countering book bans happening all over the country by adding lots of banned titles to their collection. A fantastic plan. ๐Ÿ™‚

How many books did you read when you were very young? A seven year old child in Maine has challenged herself to read all 3,000 picture books in her public library. What a fantastic goal!
