Congratulations to Karen Darling on her promotion to Librarian IV. Karen’s new title is effective September 1, 2011. This official validation by professional colleagues and the University administration recognizes performance and accomplishment and gives us opportunity to thank and applaud Karen for her contributions.

The MU Libraries Promotion Committee has scheduled a workshop for April 19^th at 9:00am in Room 159 Ellis Library.  This workshop will cover the promotion process and timeline, provide suggestions for crafting an effective dossier and answer any questions the candidates may have.  All Level I Librarians and any other librarian or archivist considering going up for promotion are encouraged to attend.
