National Library Week Celebration, April 16 and 17

National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers in schools, campuses and communities nationwide and the perfect time to discover why communities matter @ MU Libraries: Your Connection to Knowledge. The MU Libraries are celebrating National Library Week by holding two parties for the MU faculty, staff, students and our community users. Please join us for refreshments and library information at Ellis Library on Tuesday, April 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m and at the J. Otto Lottes Health Sciences Library on April 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Volunteers Needed for National Library Week Event

To celebrate National Library Week, the Communications Committee, with help from the Libraries’ student ambassadors, will be handing out treats and library information in the Ellis Library colonnade on Tuesday, April 16 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. We could use a little more help from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. If you would like to help out and join in the fun, please contact me by March 19.

Thanks,
Shannon
