Phishing is a word that means sending an email to someone else and using a false identity known to be a legitimate business in order to scam the user into giving up private information.  The email will direct you to a website where it will ask you to update personal information such as passwords, credit cards, social security, and bank account numbers. Often these organizations already have this information, so it should raise suspicion as to why they are asking for it again. This website is falsely masquerading as a legitimate organization and cannot be trusted.
