The Library Managment Team approved the following updated room reservation guidelines, including guidelines for 114A Ellis Library, which were submitted by the Events Team on January 26. These guidelines will also be added to the staff web page.
Ellis Library Room Reservation Guidelines:

Library employees can make a meeting reservation for:
- Library Departments
- Library Committees/groups
- Campus Committees/Groups – If a Library employee is a member
- Campus/University related groups that are granted special permission by the Library Director

When making a reservation, please enter:
- The name of the meeting
- The name of the meeting organizer

When making a recurring meeting, please
- Promptly update changes to each meeting – especially if cancelled
- Regularly review the details and evaluate the need to have a recurring reservation

Rooms available for meetings include:
- 159 Ellis
- 4F51A Ellis
- 4D11 Ellis

Rooms requiring special permission include:
- 213 Ellis (Electronic Classroom II) – Instruction Coordinator
- Staff Lounge – MULSA Board
- Room 201 – Communications Officer/Building Coordinator
- Bookmark Café – Communications Officer/Building Coordinator

- To be used primarily for library presentations with theater setup, eg. Candidate presentations, Faculty Lecture Series

Library related events occurring outside of Ellis Library may be listed under “Other”
- Please include location of event in the name field
- The “Other” category is informational only

Outside groups using rooms in Ellis Library
- will be responsible for all costs incurred (examples: AV rental, catering)
- must use qualified personnel (usually Campus Facilities staff) to move any furniture
