The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking qualified applicants for a Science Librarian position within the division of Research and Information Services.
Primary responsibilities include providing general and specialized reference and research services, instruction, consultation services and outreach activities in person and digitally for students, faculty, staff and the general public. Perform liaison responsibilities, including course-related instruction and collection development, for animal sciences, biological engineering, natural resources, food science, entomology, plant sciences, soil science and textile and apparel management. Teach general library instruction sessions and workshops. Create web based guides and tools that facilitate research and the use of library collections and services.
