direction of Dr. Arthur White. Following the performance, Dr. Stephanie Shonekan will moderate discussion with Ndegeocello.

Healthy for Life Update

Work Healthy: New! Ergonomic Wellness Video now available
In order to be healthy at work, you need to know the basics about ergonomic workstations, equipment, safety, and the use of appropriate wellness breaks. Listening to this video will get you started on creating a healthy work environment so you can be more productive and energized while your body feels great! 

During this course you will learn to evaluate and adjust your workstation, select ergonomic equipment and incorporate mini breaks and stretches into your workday. 

To access this course:

  1. From myHR, log into myLearn
  2. Select ‘Browse the Library’ and your campus
  3. In the left column select ‘Wellness Incentive 2016’
  4. Select ‘Work Healthy’ and find the custom course ‘Ergonomics Wellness Video

    1. You will earn 50 points for completion of this course.

Wellness Incentive points awarded upon successful completion of course/book. Points are awarded by the 15th of the month following the month the course was completed. Contact wellness@umsystem.edu for questions.


Caught in the Act: Week 2
It’s week 2 of Caught in the Act and we’ve had had a great response with 77 employees acknowledged for practicing Random Acts of Wellness during the week. Can we break 100 in week 3? 150? Keep those submission rolling in and get caught in on the act!
