The Library Social Media Team is working on new ways to promote the MU Libraries and one of the ways we are doing this is through highlighting a staff or student worker each Wednesday. We are hoping that through promoting our employees, people outside the library will realize how many people it really takes to have a successful library. It might also help people realize what services are available through the different job titles that people have. Right now we are asking people to volunteer either themselves or a student to be part of Worker Wednesday by sending Nancy Messina messinan@missouri.edu an email (after May 1st please send emails to Kimberly Moeller MoellerKN@missouri.edu) talking about your interest and what you would like your post to look like. Twitter posts are about 120 characters long after adding a picture, but you can say more about yourself on Facebook. Be sure to either follow us or like us to help us with promotion and marketing.
