Root Cellar Local Food Box Delivery at Mizzou!

Through a partnership with Healthy for Life, the Root Cellar now offers delivery of their weekly local food subscription program at the University of Missouri and the University of Missouri Healthcare System. The Root Cellar Local Food Box program offers three weekly subscription options to make healthy eating convenient and affordable. Fall/Winter subscriptions are available for $33 plus tax per week from October 30 through March 27. Visit the Root Cellar Local Food Box webpage for more details, FAQ’s and to enroll.

Participate in a Physical Activity Class and Earn Tier 2 Points!

Check out group fitness classes taking place in numerous locations around the University of Missouri and University of Missouri Healthcare System.  Engaging in a physical activity class on or off campus is just one way to earn tier 2 incentive points. Physical activity classes can be self-reported through the Healthy for Life Cerner portal.

Zumba Gold

Location: University of Missouri Psychiatric Center Gym

Time: 5:15-6:15pm

Cost: $4 per class or $20 for the entire 6 week series. No registration is required.

Zumba Gold, based on the same Latin and international dance moves as Zumba, is designed for active older adults using less intense, lower impact moves. Raise your heart rate and improve your flexibility in a fun atmosphere in this easy-to-follow, dance-based fitness program. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.
