Abbie Brown was selected for the 2013 Chancellor’s Emerging Leaders Program (CELP). CELP is designed for current leaders and those who seek to become leaders at Mizzou. Specifically, those individuals who have demonstrated high levels of responsibility in their current position, have the potential for leadership growth, and have an interest in enhancing their understanding and effectiveness as leaders. It combines active participation, personal and professional assessment information and direct application of skills to improve leadership competencies.

Greg Holliday will be presenting a session on Emotional Intelligence (EI). EI refers to the ability to perceive, control, and evaluate emotions. Some experts suggest that it can be more important that IQ. This session is open to all Library staff and will be held on October 17 from 1-3 in room 4F51A.
