College Colors Day, August 30

August 30th marks the 2013 annual College Colors Day, a tradition to promote school spirit and the start of college football season.  Students, staff, alumni & fans are encouraged to participate by wearing their BLACK and GOLD.

Also, Mizzou is participating in the second annual College Colors Day spirit competition and is asking for fan support to help win the national Spirit Cup award, which includes $10,000 toward the general scholarship fund.

By visiting https://www.facebook.com/collegecolorsday Tiger fans can register to vote for Mizzou as the school with the most college spirit and loyal fan base. After placing a vote, fans will have the opportunity to win prizes and discounts through an instant win game, view and submit photos to the College Colors Day fan photo gallery, and download a custom Facebook cover photo promoting Mizzou for College Colors Day. The Facebook-based rivalry competition kicks off Monday, August 12 and runs through 11:59 PM EST on Thursday, August 29.  Fans can vote once each day and can check who is winning the competition nationally and within each conference. The winner will be announced on College Colors Day on Friday, August 30.
