The New Technology Group (NTG) will have its first meeting/forum of the semester on Thursday, Sept. 4, 10:00-11:00 a.m., 159 Ellis. Judy Maseles will present on LibX. LibX is a free, open source scholars’ extension for the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers that lets people use services offered by their library. NTG is an informal group of library staff that gathers monthly to discuss new technologies that could be of use to the MU Libraries. NTG makes neither recommendations nor does it have a formal charge. It is merely a forum for exchanging information. Everyone is invited to attend.
