|Description:||Robert Dodsley was a bookseller and enthusiastic poet in the 18th century. He was well-connected with the literary community in his day and was advised to enter bookselling by Alexander Pope. It appears the book was published by Dodsley’s brother John.|
|Condition/Repair:||There is tape on the spines and the cover boards are loose on both volumes. The conservator will remove the tape and will repair the board hinges with kozo, as well as treating the board edges and corners.|
