Description: Daniel Defoe is now known for his novels, especially Robinson Crusoe, but he wrote on a wide variety of topics, including works on politics, religion, economics, and the supernatural. Late in his life he took to writing manuals for proper conduct, of which Religious Courtship is one.
Condition/Repair: There is tape damage to the front and back boards, both of which are completely detached. Some of the preliminary pages are also detached. The conservator will resew and reback the book, preserving the binder's title, will remove the tape, and will make minor repairs to the edges and corners.
