Recorded Sound

Located in the NE corner of the fourth floor of Ellis Library, the Recorded Sound Center houses a collection of over 17,000 audio. Most materials may be checked out by MU faculty, staff, and students for one week. Most of the materials support the Music curriculum, but the collection also includes recordings of historic speeches and radio programs, sound effects, literary readings and interviews. The Recorded Sound collection is supplemented by the Naxos Music Library which provides online access to a vast library of classical, jazz, and world music. It is available only to current students, faculty, and staff.
