Additional services for visiting scholars
Request Borrowing Privileges
In order to have borrowing privileges at MU Libraries, all visiting scholars must have a valid MU ID card and an approved form letter written by International Student and Scholar Services.

Obtain the letter referenced above from one of the following:
- International Office or Asian Affairs Center (international guests)
- Your Department Chair’s Office (non-international guests)
- Obtain an MU ID card at the ID office located in the University Bookstore
- Take the letter and the MU ID card to the Ellis Library Checkout and Information to obtain library borrowing privileges.
