Ebrary Printing Problem

There is a known ebrary printing problem with single pages of information spilling over to the next page.  Ebrary’s engineering team is working to fix this.

In the mean time, I have found a reliable work-around in Firefox.  You  can change the page setup for the browser so that all print jobs from that browser session will print at a smaller scale – thereby printing on one page.  However, this only works when you change the scale from within the browser versus from within the printer properties.

Here’s a step by step set of instructions:

1. From within a Firefox browser session, go to the “File” menu at the very top-left of your browser,
2. Select “Page Setup”,
3. Set the “Scale %” to 90 instead of 100.

Any print jobs you do while you are in that browser session will be printed at 90% and that is enough to ensure all pages print on a single page.
