Consortial Users

MERLIN is the University of Missouri library catalog.  You can limit to search items hold in your specific campus (MU, UMKC, UMSL, or MS&T) including the University of Missouri Depository (UMLD). Or you can search from all 4 campuses and UMLD.

 

UM Faculty, Staff, & Students

  • Current University of Missouri (MU, UMKC, UMSL, MS&T) Faculty, Staff and Students can request and checkout items from any UM library.  Patrons must present a valid university identification (Contact the MU Libraries to identify any other type of acceptable identification) at the time of checkout.

MOBIUS is a large group of libraries catalog.  This consortia of libraries includes primarily libraries from the State of Missouri.  Its purpose is to provide seamless access to a larger number of library items.

Undergraduate Students

  • Library items from another MOBIUS library may be requested to your home library. Patron needs to present valid institution identification at checkout time.
  • Items may also be requested to be delivered to any other MOBIUS library to be picked up.  Patron must present valid institution identification at checkout time.
  • Refer to your home library for policies and procedures.

Graduate students, Faculty & Staff

  • Library items from another MOBIUS library may be requested to your home library. Patron needs to present valid institution ID.
  • They can also be requested to be delivered to any other MOBIUS library to be picked up.  Patron needs to present valid institution ID.
  • Refer to your home library for policies and procedures.

GWLA Faculty & Staff

  • Great Western Library Association or GWLA is a national consortia which includes a large number of academic libraries. Its purpose is to provide seamless access to a larger number of library items.
  • GWLA and ILL (Interlibrary Loan or ILL@MU) items follow the same requesting procedure.
  • Current faculty and staff from GWLA institutions may request a free courtesy library card at the Ellis Library circulation desk. Individual must present prove of active association with such institution.
