Adopted Families 2003

The MU Libraries Staff Association continued its tradition of “adopting” a family from Columbia’s Voluntary Action Center this year.  MULSA volunteers publicized the family’s wish list, and many MU Libraries employees chipped in to give the eight-member family with kids aged 5-15 this impressive assortment of gifts, which included everything from bikes to boardgames.  Special thanks go out to Ruthe Morse and Wayne Sanders, stalwart volunteers who did the shopping and wrapping, even as the coldest, snowiest days of December arrived.
