Beyond Words: Visual Narratives from the Block Book to the Graphic Novel was curated by Kelli Hansen in 2016 for display in the Colonnade at Ellis Library, University of Missouri. In 2017, the exhibition was adapted and expanded into a traveling exhibition, curated by Kelli Hansen with editorial and production support by ExhibitsUSA and the Mid-America Arts Alliance. This digital exhibition incorporates some of the content from each version of the exhibition.
