Instruction Spaces
During the 2020-2021 academic year, Special Collections instruction will be primarily online. Schedule a Zoom session or teaching consultation with a librarian.
The Special Collections classroom (room 406 in Ellis Library) is a flexible instruction space designed for active learning with primary sources.
Available technological equipment includes:
- Presenter laptop
- 60-inch digital screen with speakers
- Document camera
Tables and chairs can be set in multiple configurations to allow for many types of learning activities. Active learning activities in this space work best for groups of 25 or fewer students. For larger groups, the classroom can be configured for lecture formats.
