{"id":8930,"date":"2015-06-26T16:26:19","date_gmt":"2015-06-26T16:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/?p=8930"},"modified":"2015-06-26T16:26:19","modified_gmt":"2015-06-26T16:26:19","slug":"student-fee-meeting-62315","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/2015\/06\/26\/student-fee-meeting-62315\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Fee Meeting 6\/23\/15"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li>\n\t\tDiscussion about students who are working on design and messaging for student fee campaign.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tDue to the time commitments involved with their internships, they are not able to deliver the materials we were requesting by the end of July as originally planned.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tThe group agreed to see if they are still willing to work on the campaign materials, but deliver the work by the middle of August.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDiscussion about space planning.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tCyndi&nbsp;Curnutte, the interior designer, and Bimal Balakrishnan, associate professor of architectural studies, were not able to meet yet. They will meet with student fee working group when we can get it scheduled.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tWe will work with Dr. Balakrishnan and his students on a visioning process for the space. This will give us some ideas we can put in front of students. Let students know they have a say in how the space is renovated.\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDiscussion about logistics of Student Fee Working Group (SFWG)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tAnn Riley and Shannon Cary will work on communication to staff about the work of the group\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tCindy Cotner will work on scheduling staff training on the student fee\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tAgreed that subcommittees need to be created that will report back to the group<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSubcommittees are Collections, Proposal Document,&nbsp;<span style=\"line-height: 16.6399993896484px\">Services, Social Media,&nbsp;<\/span>Space Planning, <span style=\"line-height: 16.6399993896484px\">Survey,&nbsp;Technology<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\u200b<span style=\"line-height: 16.6399993896484px\">LMT will work on committee composition and charges<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 16.6399993896484px\">Subcommittees need to meet by end of July<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 16.6399993896484px\">\u200bSFWG will create a timeline of the activities of the group for the fall<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"line-height: 16.6399993896484px\">SFWG will work on talking points for various audiences<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discussion about students who are working on design and messaging for student fee campaign.
