The new spaces that may be created on the first floor include:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tMore study spaces in general<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tWell lit glass alcoves near East windows\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tComputer stations\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t&ldquo;Plug and play&rdquo; stations\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tMore soft seating\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tCasual study and meet places\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tAdditional study rooms\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tA Maker Space\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tElectronic Classroom\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDigital Media labs\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDigital Media offices\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tAdditional office space for new positions\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t\u200b&nbsp;(All renovation plans are part of the student fee proposal and would only be possible with new funding.&nbsp; They also will require moving more of the Library collection to offsite storage. )\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tINFORMATION ITEM: From the agreed upon first floor space plan, Matt Gaunt hopes to acquire high quality renderings to help promote the Proposed Student Library Fee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INFORMATION ITEM: Matt Gaunt and Cyndi Curnutte joined LMT to discuss the Ellis Library space renovation component of the Proposed Student Library Fee.
