She also attended the Community College of Tucumcari, NM.&nbsp; She worked for the University of Toledo, University of Missouri Ellis Library, University of Arts School in Denver, Mesa Land Community College, and was a librarian at New Mexico Military Institute.&nbsp; Her passion was making jewelry, crocheting and painting. She also enjoyed participating in craft shows.&nbsp;Leona was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Edward Bacon. Jones, 1933-2014<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCarolyn M. Jones died on Oct. 28, 2014. She&nbsp;was born May 25, 1933, in London, England, to a New York Times writer and an actress who had performed with the Provincetown Players and on Broadway.&nbsp;She was raised in Atlanta by her grandmother, and graduated from Agnes Scott College.&nbsp;Following marriage in 1955, Mrs. Jones became a homemaker with two sons.&nbsp;In 1978, she began a library career leading to a Master of Arts in library science and the directorship of the Columbia College Library in Columbia, Missouri.&nbsp;After retiring to DeLand in 2001, Mrs. Jones was active in the Friends of the DeLand Library, making reminder calls, participating in book- and poetry-discussion groups, and with the genealogy society.&nbsp;She is survived by her husband, B.C. Jones, son Michael B.
