A study bar will soon be installed along the north wall and run between the 3 window wells.&nbsp; Bar stools have been purchased and comfortable chairs will be moved into the area from other parts of Ellis.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2014\/08\/Renovation1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Renovation1\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8003\" height=\"216\" src=\"http:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2014\/08\/Renovation1.jpg\" width=\"288\" \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tElectrical upgrades will provide ample power for the students and will include USB jacks for device charging. 6 electric poles will be placed where the original walls were; this will give power to the center of the study space and allow power for tables and other seating in that area.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2014\/08\/Renovation-3.jpg\" rel=\"\" target=\"\" title=\"\"><figure id=\"attachment_8004\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8004\" style=\"width: 288px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2014\/08\/Renovation-3.jpg\" alt=\"Renovation 3\" width=\"288\" height=\"215\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8004  wp-caption alignnone\" title=\"\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8004\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Walls down and ready to paint!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t8 computers will be moved into room 4D11 to replace the quiet study area we lost with Admissions&rsquo; move to room 114 and a student Printsmart printer will be installed at the corner of 4D21, at the top of the stairs from the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> floor.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 1.6em\">As this is considered a quiet study area, noise will be dampened with wall treatments. We are looking at using stretched canvas photos of Ellis and its surroundings to help dampen sound and incorporate a Libraries theme.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 1.6em\">The project should be completed by the end of September 2014.
