Jeannette Pierce, Associate Director for Research and Information Services: Discuss her new position\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tSpending a good portion of her time still getting to know the RAIS 2013 and running through January 2014 or February 2014\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tSteel beams can be brought in up the stairs, instead of through the windows of Room 202\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tThe passageway outside of 202 will be closed during the entire construction project\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tEllis Library Women&rsquo;s restroom in 2013, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Ellis Library will be closed <u>to the public<\/u> but not to staff.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe 1915 vintage plumbing needs repairs\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLMT decided the best time to fix it is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tFixing the pipe in the subbasement and the sprinkler system\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tStaff members can remain in the building working that Wednesday using facilities in other buildings or they may take a vacation day\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tUMLD 2: Sub Terra: Mold Outbreak<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tDiscovered mold on an unknown number of volumes at the off-site sub easily accommodate a second building to hook in to the system<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJim Cogswell informed the committee that building a second facility will cost somewhere around $4 to forward\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLibrary Acquisitions budget is the only one of its kind on campus<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Library Acquisitions budget is almost half of the total operating budget for the MU Libraries\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWorking to get significant enhancements to this budget in the coming years\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSpoke about Renew Mizzou and how to repurpose the space once the construction is over and they vacate the
