attendance: Rachel Brekhus, Libby Myre, Sara Bryant, Jack Batterson, Rebecca Graves, Sheena Waggoner, P.J., Deb Ward, Dustin Hoffman, Karen Witt, Jim Cogswell\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<u>Agenda Items<\/u>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tRenovations of Library Instruction Rooms 4D11 and 4D12<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\tGuest: P.J.(Pat Jones) of Library Security and Facility Coordinator\n\t\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t4D11 Computer lab and 4D12 old DoIT room<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tNeed refurbishments\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tWired for computers\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tHouse 14 student computers, 1 instructor computer<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t4D12<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPlan to repaint\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t59 chairs purchased for it\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t4D11<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNot used as much as 4D12\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDiscussing removing the ceiling fans due to complaints that they are too low\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNew carpeting &ndash; on order\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWalls currently white, no need to repaint\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSurvey<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEllis Space Facility Advisory Committee (ESFAC) will be circulating a survey to MU Libraries about possible uses of these two rooms<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRachel Brekhus stated, &ldquo;The Instruction committee has discussed using 4D12 as an electronic classroom already.&rdquo;\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tRemoval of walls outside 4D11 and 4D12<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTear down extraneous walls\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tProvide extra study space for students<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPossibility of soft seating and tables in this area\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tFunding<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRenovations have been approved by Jim Cogswell\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMU Libraries possibly covering funding for this project<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJim stated, &ldquo;Not certain where the funds are coming from, but MU Libraries tries to maintain a small facilities fund for work such as this.&rdquo;\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHeidi Davis from Campus Facilities has not said &ldquo;No outright&rdquo; but needs the bottom line cost to weigh if Campus Facilities can help with costs\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDirector Announcements: Jim Cogswell<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tLMT Retreat
