If you are currently enrolled in a 12-week session that is scheduled to end after July 1, you can submit your tracker to employee wellness at 205 Heinkel Building, MU to receive your rebate.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and Staff will continue to be eligible for Weight Watchers discounts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are a Coventry member, you are now eligible for a discounted rate to enroll in Weight Watchers online. For $55, you can access recipes, tracking tools and chat boards for three months. That\u2019s less than $5 per week!<\/li>\n<li>Weight Watchers also offers a discount for University of Missouri faculty and staff who enroll through its portal system.\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Login Instructions:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><em>Go to this website <\/em><strong><em><a title=\"https:\/\/wellness.weightwatchers.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/wellness.weightwatchers.com\" >https:\/\/wellness.weightwatchers.com<\/a><\/em><\/strong><em> and enter in the MU ID <\/em><strong><em>46814<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em><em>and passcode <\/em><strong><em>WW446814<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><em> It will then take you to next page where you enter in your personal information and set up your website user ID and password (this user ID and password is just for this registration website). There is only one website portal, so be sure when you enter in the company address specify which location you want to attend a meeting. Enrolling through this portal will give you a $39.95\/month membership instead of $42.95!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br \/>\nMillion Step Pedometer Program<\/span><br \/>\nThis on-going program is designed for the University of Missouri&#8217;s faculty and staff to get moving through counting their steps. For $15, participants will receive a pedometer and a log book. Once you reach 1 million steps, you get to keep the pedometer and you&#8217;ll receive a T-shirt, certificate and a $15 refund. <strong><em>There are a variety of prizes for every additional million steps you take\u2014with no limit<\/em><\/strong>. To enroll, contact <a href=\"mailto:wellness@umsystem.edu\">wellness@umsystem.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nCity Cycling:<\/strong> PedNet is working with Healthy for Life to help you incorporate biking into your daily activities. \u00a0City Cycling Class is taught by League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors who are very experienced in all aspects of biking for transportation and recreation. \u00a0Whether you are an experienced cyclist or just bike curious, City Cycling will help you bike more, stay active and be Healthy for Life!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Class covers:<br \/>\n<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The rules of the road for <em>safe and legal<\/em> biking.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Improve safety and avoid crashes through bike handling skill drills.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Put your new biking expertise to work with an instructor guided ride around town to familiarize you with the rules of the road and bike friendly routes.<\/p>\n<p>City Cycling is a five-hour course available as one weekend morning or two evening sessions. Participants must be able to perform weight-lifting or plyometric (jumping) exercise. Benefits of participation include supervised exercise training, determination of body composition and bone density, and monetary compensation.
