{"id":3379,"date":"2011-04-22T08:22:32","date_gmt":"2011-04-22T14:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mulibraries.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/?p=3379"},"modified":"2011-04-22T08:22:32","modified_gmt":"2011-04-22T14:22:32","slug":"new-diversity-website-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.missouri.edu\/newsnotes\/2011\/04\/22\/new-diversity-website-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"New Diversity Website Launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chancellor\u2019s Diversity Initiative is pleased to announce the launch of a new diversity-related website called MizzouDiversity ( <a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu<\/a>).\u00a0 This site is designed as a directory, resource, and information center for all of our campus community to explore and enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are a student, staff, faculty or friend, opportunities are available to connect with others through activities and programs (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/programs.php\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/programs.php<\/a>). \u00a0You can learn about diversity-related research (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/learn\/researchers\/\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/learn\/researchers\/<\/a>) or statistics and demographics (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/about\/stats\/\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/about\/stats\/<\/a> ), or identify a campus or community event that appeals to your interest and mood through the calendar (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/calendar\/\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/calendar\/<\/a> ).<\/p>\n<p>If you are new to the Columbia area, we have information about ethnic markets and salons (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/markets-salons.php\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/markets-salons.php<\/a>), places of worship (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/religion\/index.php\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/religion\/index.php<\/a>) and community organizations and programs (<a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/communityorgs.php\" >http:\/\/diversity.missouri.edu\/get-involved\/communityorgs.php<\/a>) .<\/p>\n<p>Over the next few months we will continue to introduce new features.
